The improvement of working conditions, including wages, amidst continuous change in the labour market, calls for the action of spaces for social agreement. In particular, we must address the establishment of a reference salary scheme from these spaces that takes into account both the structure of the labour market and the new labour realities and various determining factors of the territories of the metropolis.

The most labour-intensive sectors and, therefore, with a high capacity to generate employment, demand specific attention in order to ensure working conditions that guarantee increases in productivity. Likewise, we must identify new employment-generating sectors and propose proposals for rooting and accelerating their development.
