Objectius del projecte

InnoHEIs té com a objectiu ampliar el paper de les universitats i la seva infraestructura de recerca i innovació com a agents clau per al desenvolupament de la innovació regional.

Descripció del projecte

És ben conegut que afavorir l’emprenedoria i la creativitat aporta molts beneficis a les institucions d’educació superior (HEI, per les sigles en anglès) i a les regions properes. El projecte InnoHEIs aborda el repte de millorar el paper de les HEI i les seves infraestructures de recerca i innovació (RII) com a facilitadores del procés de descobriment de les opcions d’emprenedoria, que és un procés de baix cap a dalt, inclusiu i interactiu. En aquest procés es permet als participants de diversos entorns (polític, empresarial, acadèmic, etc.) descobrir possibles noves activitats i oportunitats que sorgeixen gràcies a aquesta interacció. Així, l’objectiu és impulsar les col·laboracions existents en el marc de la infraestructura de les universitats, per enfortir el rol d’aquestes i donar solucions a reptes econòmics i socials del territori.

En el projecte també hi participen 10 socis addicionals a la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, procedents de França, Països Baixos, Finlàndia, Suècia, Polònia i Lituània, i està liderat per la Universitat de Ciències Aplicades de Hanze (Groningen, Països Baixos).

Àmbits d’intervenció

Education and training

Actions must be undertaken to update training so that it is also oriented to the needs of the labour market, acting mainly on the expansion of vocational training and continuous training, as well as promoting the increase in demand for STEM education, especially among women.

Technology transfer

Improving the transfer of knowledge produced by the university system and company research, currently one of the weak points of the innovation system in the Barcelona metropolitan region, must be pursued by strengthening the system of technology centres, as well as by promoting the exchange of knowledge between all the actors of the innovation ecosystem.

Training and education

The level of training and the skills acquired must enable participants to overcome barriers to access or progress in the labour market. In this sense, it is necessary to focus especially on keeping students from dropping out of school or on lifelong learning, both specialised and focused on general skills (such as mastery of languages or ICT skills).

Talent management

The central role of talent in promoting an innovative production fabric that provides medium and high salary levels means that great emphasis is placed on promoting and retaining it. The attraction of talent is the complement that should help to meet unsatisfied needs with local talent and requires a significant effort to coordinate and simplify certain processes.
