Origin of your personal data

The data that currently form part of the PEMB database mostly come from online registration forms, which read as follows:

The PEMB will request explicit authorisation to register personal data coming from a source other than the one mentioned above. In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data, we inform you that your data will be incorporated into an automated file that has previously been sent to the Data Protection Agency and that is owned by the Barcelona Metropolitan Strategic Plan. Your personal data will be used confidentially and exclusively for activities related to promoting the metropolitan area of Barcelona. The data may occasionally be transferred to collaborating organisations for the same use. The interested party expressly authorises the Barcelona Metropolitan Strategic Plan to use the personal data contained in this form for the purposed indicated.

In accordance with the PEMB's privacy policy, we can only use your personal data to inform you about everything related to promotion of the metropolitan area of Barcelona: newsletter InfoRegió 2030, announcements about activities, working groups and meetings.

Can we provide your information to third parties?

To guarantee the proper functioning of the activities or other services that we provide, your data may be processed by third parties dedicated to this purpose, such as service providers (web hosting, the security of buildings where activities are carried out, etc.). This management of your data is carried out solely and exclusively to guarantee the provision, security and availability of the services and activities that we offer you, ensuring that these organisations apply the best information security measures and practices.

As the PEMB cannot always control the contents third parties post on their own websites, it shall not be held liable in any way for said contents. This website has been reviewed and tested to make sure it works properly. In theory, it should work properly 24 hours a day, 356 days a year.
