Over these years, the Plan has been to become a unique space for building social, institutional and political consensus in relation to the future model of the city.

What we have seen is that the PEMB is recognised as having this intangible role, which no other institution has been able to have: a space that builds consensus, not only in political terms, in the medium-term vision of the city. I am one of those who believe that this place exists thanks to a certain strand of Barcelona DNA, a unique factor that makes it stand out: a way of being permanently interested in what we want to be and where we want to go.
